Tourism is one of the largest and fastest growing industries in the world. Millions of people are directly or indirectly involved with the industry. Tourism has a tremendous potential in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. This calls for trained and competent managers for managing the tourism industry.

With this aim, the Directorate launched the Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management (PGDTM). The course has been designed for people interested in pursuing a career in the Tourism Industry at managerial level and is meant for the aspiring entrepreneurs and those running their own travel and trade related business activities.

Course Name:Post Graduate Diploma In Tourism Management (Discontinued from year 2021 and onwards)
Course Duration:One Academic Year (Two Semesters).
Course Eligibility:Candidate seeking admission to the course must be graduate in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern with at least 40% marks from University of Kashmir or any other examination recognized by the University of Kashmir as equivalent thereto.  In-service candidates with above-mentioned qualification are also eligible.
